Volunteer Opportunities with AAC

• Morning Feeding – at the sanctuary
• Evening Clean Up – at the sanctuary
• Trapping Feral Cats – training available
• Monthly Saturday Morning Sanctuary Clean Up Days
• Foster Cat/Kitten – provide temporary shelter and care until a permanent home can be found
• Feral Cat Pick Up in Okatie – bring ~4-6 cats in traps back to the sanctuary (Tuesday afternoons)

• Yardwork / Landscaping – misc. projects within the sanctuary
• Construction – help build new cat enclosures or fix old ones
• Holding a cat food drive in your neighborhood, school, or office to gather donations and deliver them to the sanctuary
• Donation Boxes – collect money from boxes at area businesses and/or find new locations to place a box
• SEO Experience/Marketing/Social Media/Website, see below*

• Write press releases to issue to local news outlets
• Post news/outreach on NextDoor to promote special events
• Simply spread the word, bring a family member or friend, or out-of-town guest to the sanctuary

SEO Expert / Social Media Marketing

Are you good at getting websites and YouTube videos to page one of Google? If so, we could use your help. We need to focus on getting our website to page one for certain keywords; we’re sure there are some opportunities being missed. The larger challenge is also getting our YouTube videos to rank in Google.

Social Media expert and video creator. We’re looking for someone who has experience at knowing what each platform is looking for and increasing our following on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Grant Writing

​There are many grants out there, but finding them and applying for them correctly is a challenge. We’re looking for a skilled writer/grant writer who can not only help us find but also apply to the various animal welfare-related opportunities that are available to us. This is a great resume builder for high school students!

Corporate Donations Leader

​Asking for both Corporate Sponsorship and private donations is a challenge. Are you up to that challenge? We’re looking for someone comfortable looking for donors and reaching out to spread the word about All About Cats HHI.
